Meet the Drews behind the Dogs!

We (Greg, Melissa, Tana & Adelay Drew) make raising frenchies a family affair. Each of us plays an important role in caring for the pups that we quite literally raise in the middle of our living room!

I (Melissa) have always been animal crazy. My love for dogs started as a little girl begging my parents to let me keep the neighborhood stray….and then raising her puppies, of course! I moved on to Golden Retrievers as a young adult, and then Greg came along. Greg had always had cattle dogs as his steady companion and travel partner. So, when he came to me with the idea of getting a French Bulldog it took some convincing!! Obviously, you already know he succeeded. It didn’t take long for the breed to wiggle and snort their way into my heart! Very shortly thereafter the idea of Drew Dogs was born. After countless hours of research, our first girl, Nadia, was purchased and imported. She was the foundation of our program. And, as they say, the rest is history. We have now had her great, great, great grand-puppies born here!

Greg and I met because of our shared passion for horses. When we decided to begin raising frenchies, we entered into breeding with the same level of intensity as we always have had with the horses. We are passionate about producing healthy, good quality pets and selecting for fun colors! With over 20 years in the animal nutrition industry myself and over 25 years being self-employed in animal husbandry professions for Greg, we bring expertise and invaluable experience to our program.

And, we are so blessed to be raising our girls alongside the dogs.
